The July PSC-IDPA match will be held this Saturday, July  24th at the PSC Shooting Club in Friendswood, TX.

Gate Code for Match:

If you are not a PSC member, then you will need to use the special match gate code to enter.  (Push the "key" button twice, then enter the code.)  This code is only good from 7:00 am until 9:00 am.  To get the code, go to the Event Registration link on the PSC-IDPA website and register for the July match.

Pre-Registration:

We are using the new pre-registration feature again this month and it is proving to be a great time-saver.  People who have pre-registered simply have to pay the match fee and pick up their scoresheets and scoring labels.

If you know you are coming to the match, please pre-register by going to the Event Registration link on www.PSC-Range.com and select the July PSC-IDPA match.  Then fill in the information and hit the "book" button.  You will receive an automated email confirming your registration and you will be on the match roster.  The score sheets and scoring labels will be prepared Friday evening before the match.

If  you want to be squadded with someone, there is a place to note that on the Registration Form and we make every effort to honor those requests.  Obviously, there are limits and the earlier you and the person you want to shoot with register, the more likely you will be squadded as requested.  (We will always keep family members together.)  We ask that you don't enter a name in the squad request blank simply because it is there, as the more people who make specific requests the harder it will be to honor those requests.  Please reserve your squad requests for those occasions when it really matters to you.  Also, if you are going to request special squadding, please make sure the person you want to shoot with has already registered or that they will do so close to the time you register.

Summer Match Format:

For the July and August matches, we will run 6 scenarios (instead of 10) in 6 bays using 6 squads.  If we have enough SO's, we'll add the plate rack as a 7th scenario and run 7 squads.  With either 6 or 7 squads, we should finish much earlier before the heat gets really oppressive.

The new scheduled starting time is 8:30 am, with sign up beginning at 7:30 am.   Whether we can do this will depend largely on how many of our shooters  pre-register for the match.

Pre-Registration

Pre-registration for the June match was a huge success!  We had 46 people pre-register and it's a very good thing these folks did  register early since we had 80 shooters!  Without pre-registration, the match would not have started before 11:00 am. Obviously, we're going to continue offering pre-registration for all of our matches.

If you know you are coming and would like to pre-register, just go to the Registration Page and fill in the information.   Shooters don't have to pre-register for the match, but doing so will help speed sign-up and let us get the match started sooner.  If you pre-register, all you will have to do on match day is pick up your score sheets and labels from Marc and pay your match fee.
